Matthew Bennett is the founder of Can fish climb? A global educational professional and executive coach, Matthew has worked with teachers from schools in over 12 countries in Europe, Africa and Asia.
Matthew started his professional career as a science teacher and then became involved in the assessment, writing and overseeing exams for the UK’s biggest exam board and others across the world. He has considerable experience in assessment design and a passion for using assessment and good curriculum design to improve student outcomes and future prospects.
Matthew’s work in assessment led to considerable experience designing and delivering training for teachers in a wide range of topics from science practical work to project based learning.
Matthew is a fully trained executive coach and has worked with leaders at a number of schools to overcome the challenges they face, to develop and communicate their vision for the school and to more effectively lead staff to improve outcomes.
Matthew has also been involved in creating high quality resources for a number of publishing companies including OUP and Pearson, as well as product development for educational software and examinations.
